BATTERY OPTIMISATION
BATTERY OPTIMISATION
If you are having issues with tracking a ride completely or find that your Android device prohibits Motobit from being active in the background, you may need to change the “Battery Optimisation” app settings.
To save energy, the “Battery Optimisation” setting restricts background network functionality on some phones, so no location or other data is transmitted. To ensure the full and proper use of Motobit on your device, we recommend checking that “Battery Optimisation” is turned off.
Unfortunately, many vendors are not following Google's guidelines, which may require you to take action if you are facing issues.
It is helpful to know your smartphone's manufacturer and model as well as, which Android version is currently installed on your device.
The list below shows you, how to turn off "Battery optimisation" in case you are using a device from a vendor, that is typically affected.
Click below for more information about how to turn off battery optimisation on your device.

The main reason why apps get suspended while not actively using them has to do with Stamina mode.
