No. You receive hazard warnings only while you are tracking your ride or navigating. Simply keeping the app open isn’t enough.
Hazard warnings also need an internet connection. Motobit loads the hazard points for the area around you in advance, so a short loss of coverage is not a problem. Without a connection for more than roughly 7 km, you won’t receive warnings until you are online again.
Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®: audio warnings also play while you use Motobit on Android Auto or CarPlay. The warning banner on the screen is currently only shown in the smartphone app, not yet on Android Auto or CarPlay.
