Can I navigate offline?

No. An active internet connection is needed to start navigation, because routes are calculated on our servers.

If you lose the connection during your ride

• Navigation continues on the route already calculated, with voice instructions.
• The route can’t be recalculated. This affects:
  • leaving the route, for example after a wrong turn
  • “Skip next waypoint”
  • “Bypass road closure”
• Hazard warnings continue for roughly the next 7 km, because Motobit loads them in advance for the area around you. After that, they stop until you are online again.

As soon as you have a connection again, everything works as usual.

Ride tracking works without internet. The ride is uploaded once you are online again.
