How can I influence the length or duration and direction of a round tour during planning?

You set the distance and the direction in the round trip settings. You can’t set the duration directly: it follows from the distance, the road network and the routing mode.

Open the settings

Tap “New Round Trip” on the map and set your starting point. Then tap the yellow buttons below the starting point (distance, direction and routing mode).

Change the settings

1. Distance: move the slider to set the approximate length of the trip, from 25 to 1,000 km. The default is 100 km.
2. Direction: tap an arrow to head that way from your starting point, or the shuffle button in the center for a random direction (default).
3. Routing mode: choose the mode you prefer. What they mean: What do the different routing modes mean?
4. Tap “Ok”.

Create the round trip

Tap “Create a round trip” at the bottom of the map. The distance is approximate: in this example it was set to 100 km and the trip came out at 80 km. If the result doesn’t suit you, change the settings and create it again.
